Russian authority, responsible for listing of blogs or web-sites, popular in Russia, ceased to maintain the register of such blogs or web-sites. The relevant provision of law has lost its force. This year it was proposed to repeal the “law on bloggers in Russia”. Under this law Roskomnazdor has to maintain and monitor Internet on a subject of popular blogs.

A work that has not been fixed is not protected by the Copyright Act and cannot be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, although it might be eligible for protection under state law. The Office will not register works produced by nature, animals, or plants.
