Russian authors’ society sued its former CEO for almost 300 million roubles

Former CEO of Russian authors’ society, Sergey Fedotov, has been found guilty for the fraud. 19th of September Russian court in Moscow has announced the verdict. One and half year imprisonment according to the sentence.

After that RAO has filed a suit against Sergey Fedotov. The suit seeks 294 million roubles for compensation of damages. But the Fedotov’s lawyer stated, that after Fedotov’s testimony a new criminal proceedings is to be initiated and Fedotov will have the status of witness.
