This system should protect children from negative and dangerous content. As it is declared, a special “white list” of web-sites will be created. This system would call National System of Internet-traffic filtration. Such system is provided in state agenda “Digital economy”. Currently the two options of its realisation are considered.
As the first option it could be traffic filtration only in educational institutions. The second option is traffic filtration for everybody in Russian internet at default. If the person would like to visit the “dark side” of the rest of the internet he or she should ask his or her internet service provider (ISP) to provide access to all internet addresses available in Russia. In order to do the customer has to send his ISP a requirement.
